2007 Letterkenny Lions Club Art Auction

The 3^rd. Letterkenny Lions Club Charity Art Auction is taking place at 7.30pm on Friday, 27^nd April in An Grianan Theatre, Letterkenny. All pieces are currently on display in An Grianan, open daily 10.00am - 5.30pm.

More than 117 fantastic pieces of art will go under the hammer.  Those attending the Auction will also be in with a chance to win an original watercolour by. (All you need to do is buy a €3 catalogue and you will be entered into the draw.)

All profits from the Auction will go directly to the Donegal Cheshire Apartments & Cairde Le Cheile.

 Cairde le Cheile is a project that was born out of Donegal Special Olympics and is supported by, North Western Health Board, Donegal County Council, Letterkenny Town Council, Donegal Sports Partnership, People With Disabilities Ireland & Letterkenny Hospitals Sports & Social Club. 

The aim of the project is to provide sporting, social and cultural facilities for people with disabilities, their families, carers and friends throughout all of County Donegal.

The old church located between St Conals Hospital and the town park has been leased to the project by the HSE.  Work is underway to renovate the church, while still preserving the integrity of the building.
